From Nishijin textile factory to wearable IoT

1956
Founded by Fujini Mitera as a Nishijin textile factory
1979
Established Mitsufuji Fiber Industry Inc.
1980
Started developing and selling conductive nets and tapes.
1995
Entered into an exclusive distribution agreement with a silver plating manufacturer in the U.S.
1999
Announced “Effectiveness of Shield Curtains” at 4th Medical Electromagnetic Environment Study Group.
2002
Registered a trademark for AGposs® as a general brand of silver-metalized fiber.
2008
AGposs® was adopted as underwear materials for astronauts at the International Space Station.
Entered into a collaboration contract with Taiwan Textile Research Institute(TTRI).
2015
Changed name of Mitsufuji Fiber Industry Inc. to Mitsufuji Corporation. Exhibited “Non-Dermal Contact Sensor Shirt” at 1st Wearable EXPO.
2016
Released our first IoT completed product service hamon®.
2017
Exhibited hamon® at CES 2017(the biggest consumer-electronic market show) in Las Vegas.
Opened a new Tokyo Head Office and a Showroom in Chiyoda-ward, Tokyo.
2018
Constructed Fukushima Factory at Kawamata-machi, Date-gun, Fukushima Prefecture.
Started to manufacture wears.
2019
Exhibited hamon® as a Japanese innovated technology at G20 Osaka summit in Osaka.
